Raslouw Private Hospital
The new Raslouw Private Hospital in Pretoria has officially opened. This facility houses 100 beds, including 10 adult ICU beds and four neonatal ICU beds. It features a dedicated maternity unit with two delivery rooms, directly connected to the neonatal ICU. The hospital also includes a pediatric unit, a 24-hour emergency unit, a radiology department, and a pharmacy. Its theater complex is equipped with three operating theaters, a catheterization laboratory (cath lab), and space for an additional cath lab. The first floor accommodates 17 doctor suites, two laboratories, and a coffee shop. Additionally, the hospital offers free and secure parking for visitors.

Their extensive product range is distributed across various provinces in South Africa, with a focus on ready-to-eat leafy green vegetables and salads such as lettuce, spinach, kale, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, spring onions, leeks, and herbs. The company is a significant employer, with over 500 full-time staff and an additional 250 seasonal workers hired based on seasonal needs. The recent launch of their processing facility is expected to create more permanent jobs in the coming years.

Designed to meet food safety standards, the facility will include dedicated areas for washing, preparation, and storage of produce.

TREVENNA
South African construction major, Concor, was appointed as the principal contractor for the Public Investment Corporation (PIC)’s Trevenna basement project in Sunnyside, Pretoria. This basement project served as a precursor for the A-grade office buildings in the Trevenna Office Campus.
The company undertook the first and second phases of the project, which included the construction of a five-level, 68,000 square meter super basement with all services, lobbies, and finishes.
The extensive basement extended approximately 20 meters below ground level and was constructed using post-tensioned concrete slabs. The scope of work also included extensive underground services such as sewer and stormwater infrastructure, electrical reticulation, lifts to the ground floor, and access control systems.

Growthpoint Property owned and developed Exxaro head office in Centurion, Gauteng, has achieved 6-Star As-Built rating from the Green Building Council South Africa (GBCSA) under the Green Star New Build certification system.
The 18 500s qm building was conceptualised in a collaboration of Growthpoint’s Trading and Development team and Exxaro, and delivered by exceptional professionals.
